Shopping for a Locking Mailbox You have probably been looking all over the Internet for a locking mailbox to secure your mail. You have also discovered that there are hundreds of different styles and prices to choose from. The question that many people face is "what is the best choice for me". Luckily you have made the right choice by just deciding to secure your mail with a locking mailbox. Any of these boxes pictured below will give you the security you need. Finding the price range that you are willing to pay is a more complicated matter. You can kind of go by the old saying that you get what you pay for, but that is not always the case, especially on the Internet. Some locking mailboxes are priced very high, but are not any better than one that is priced significantly lower. Conversely, some that are priced very low are actually just as secure or more secure as those that are priced significantly higher. Your best bet is to try to compare the actual product side by side to make your choice, but that is not very easy to do considering that each store only carries one or two lines of locking mailboxes. When I was shopping for a locking mailbox for my home, I checked out the locking mailboxes that were available at the local hardware stores and the big box stores, I didn't find what I was looking for in the price range that I was willing to spend. That took me to the Internet where I, like you, have found hundreds of different brands and prices. These prices ranges from $79 to over $300 for a basic locking mailbox. I found the Pinnacle brand and was very impressed by the quality of the box and the selling price. I have seen several of the other locking mailboxes that are available and they are also very good products. The Pinnacle was my choice. I feel that it is one of the best locking mailboxes that you will find at any price and recommend it to all my friends, neighbors and customers looking for a secure locking mailbox. Good luck in finding the locking mailbox that fits your needs. Bud Meyer |
